Dr. Alexandra Saunders is a Saint John, NB clinical cardiologist with the NBHC Team. She received her BSc (Hons) at UNBSJ, medical school at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick, and Internal Medicine training at Dalhousie - Saint John. Her Cardiology training, Master of Science in Translational Medicine, longitudinal training in Pulmonary Hypertension and Cardio-Obstetrics, and Echocardiography fellowship were completed at the University of Alberta (2020-2024). 

Her clinical interests include pulmonary arterial hypertension, cardio-obstetric cardiology, and echocardiography (with special interest in TEE, 3D, and strain).
