Learning Objectives

• Identify long-standing conundrum of differentiating hypertrophic cardiomyopathy from other disease states causing thickening such as hypertension Amyloid, and Athletes Heart using MRI, genetics, and clinical variables. • Perform Doppler measurements correctly for the acquisition of left ventricular outflow tract gradients during detection, monitoring, and provocation in the context of the assessment of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy • Outline the new regional echo lab and work flow model emerging across Ontario to manage patients on novel therapies
